PORTRAITS ON WHITE
This is a series that I began in 2009 to photograph subcultures and the marginalised. I've set up the studio outside tattoo parlors, biker bars, at Coney Island, on Madison Avenue and in Times Square. Coming to a location near you.
SHADOWS ON THE WALL
An exploration in color, light and shape. I draw strong inspiration from artist Mark Rothko, but in this case I paint through the manipulation of shadows in front of the camera.
VERTIGOMERICA
I created these images after my first extended trip outside the United States. I spent a month in the Finnish nature and returned to NYC as if I've never been there before, overwhelmed by the magnitude of the urban form.
